EXISTING BLOG REVIEW

A BROKEN BACKPACK BY MELISSA GIROUX

A broken backpack is a travel blog for people with
 "Tiny Budgets and Huge Dreams".

I chose to give a review on this blog because this blog provides ways to travel around the world with a small budget.

Design of the blog

The design of this blog makes it easy for readers to select what they want to read about specifically and provides readers with an easy way to access the directory. Another aspect of this blog that I like is the short and understandable introduction to the blog.

Contents of the blog

The contents of this blog are mainly about places the blogger has travelled to and suggestions to readers about what they can do in those places. The blogger has written her contents short and easy to understand.

Besides being easy to understand, her blogs are also very informational. She also provides information about affordable accommodations based on her experience.

Why I like this blog?

I like this blog because of it's motive to inform people who think travelling cost's a lot of money that it really doesn't and that if you have huge dreams, you should go for it no matter the barriers you face.

Author of the blog

That is all for the review on an existing blog!

An Interesting Topic For This Week

Weird Hotels Around The World

Today we're gonna be looking at different places around the world that have weirdly creative hotels.

1.Magic Mountain Hotel, Huilo Huilo Reserve, Chile.

The pictures above show that this place has the essence of nature. It is shaped like a little mountain. It has an amazing interior, as you can see in the picture above. The Magic Mountain Hotel covers 60,000 hectares of the Valdivian forest.  This hotel also has natural hot springs, unexplored lakes, and direct access to the Mocho Choshuenco volcano. This hotel has a waterfall cascading down from the peak of the roof to the secluded forest lodges. What is weird about this hotel is their choice of design for this place and also the location. It seems almost magical like its name.

2. Giraffe Manor, Nairobi, Kenya.

The Giraffe Manor is one of Nairobi's iconic buildings. At first glance, you may think it is an ordinary building, but you're gonna want to sneak a peek inside the building just like the giraffes. This building harks back to the 1930's when Europeans first came to enjoy safaris. Whats weird about this hotel is that they have a friendly herd of Rothschild giraffes that resides there. This offers people to have a friendly interaction with the giraffes and spend quality time with family and friends there too.

3. Kakslauttanen Hotel, Saariselka, Finland.

This hotel has a different approach to igloos. Contrasting from the traditional igloos, Kakslauttanen Hotel has glass igloos to view the beautiful starry night. You can also see the northern lights during the northern lights season from the third week of August until the end of April. Whats weird about this hotel is that they are quite open and it comes with both advantages and disadvantages, but I bet it'll be an amazing experience.

That's all for this week on weird hotels around the world.
